What is Robot Middleware?

BellRMF is robot middleware that acts as the coordination layer between multiple robots and shared building infrastructure like lifts, doors, and corridors. It doesn’t control how robots move, but helps them avoid conflicts by managing access to these shared resources — like a traffic light ensuring safe turns at an intersection.

BellRMF also provides integrations with third-party systems such as building management platforms or admin dashboards, enabling human oversight, monitoring, and centralized control when needed.
